  • Represented a small company terminated for default; the settlement proposal was contested by the Army and DCAA, followed by multiple actions before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and a suit in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims; the case was resolved with the termination converted to one for convenience and millions of dollars paid by the U.S. government
  • Tried case asserting actual and constructive changes before Civilian Board of Contract Appeals; claims ultimately settled by negotiation
  • Intervened on behalf of Fortune 200 company in effort to preserve award of $100+ million telecom contract issued by California Joint Powers Authority and protested by rival offeror

Internal Investigations and Enforcement Defense

  • Defended IT contractor sued by a qui tam relator under California’s False Claims Act
  • Conducted internal investigations of companies facing allegations of kickbacks and false claims
